Here's a little something I put together recently, A Dark Eldar Quad Gun.
My biggest complaint about most Dark Eldar Quad Gun conversions I've seen is that either they are way to over the top or they clearly look like a slap dash gluing of random parts. I wanted mine to be functional, make sense and clearly have the Dark Eldar aesthetic.
It's made from a Eldar Support Weapon chassis, a Dark Eldar Ravager sponson and some sliced and diced Dark Lances, Heat Lances and Disintegrators. Some Raider trophy spikes and Talos sensor spikes were added to complete the DE feel.
Awesome conversion!
ReplyDeleteBeauty! That really turned out great - can't wait to see it painted up!
ReplyDeleteWow! That looks great. I may have to borrow from your brilliance yet again. Your army is amazing.
ReplyDeletethat is a really, really nice job. Kudos.
ReplyDeleteA very nice conversion!! I didn't even know a quad Guns were a DE army list choice - or am I a little put of date? :-S
ReplyDeleteAll 40k Armies can take emplacements in 6th, even DE. So basically it's the DE version of an Aegis Quad Gun.
Deletei have been thinking a little bit along the lines of that quad-gun, but i think i'll build one out of a Talos Pain Engine that i have already turned into bits and use dark lances and some extra bits to make it.
ReplyDeleteI would like to see that, shoot over a link when it's built :)
DeleteThanks for the compliments everyone!
ReplyDeleteAwesome conversion, like so much other stuff of yours.
ReplyDeleteGreat work, EoE! Fits the DE aesthetic wonderfully.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dave!
DeleteIt looks good, but why would there be swords jutting out the sides of it?
ReplyDeleteI'm familiar with the DE aesthetic, but this is a static defence position...
I think the real question is "Why wouldn't there be swords jutting out the sides" :)
DeleteDE can never have enough sharp things....
Easy, yet effective conversion... Great Work!
ReplyDeleteLovely quad gun!
ReplyDeleteNowshow us an aegis defence line ;)
