Necron Week Post 3, Fun with Warriors & Scrap Crons!

Here's 2 units of warriors for my Necron Army. First the regular warriors can be simply modified to match the new plastics by using leftover Gauss tubes from Immortal Gauss Cannons. While I was at it I decided to swap the axe like blades with the bayonet like blades from the Gauss Cannons.

Scrap Crons!
So here's where I had some fun, I decided to reach into my bits box and pull out what I could to make some slap dash scrap yard Crons. The premise behind these warriors is that they were somehow resurrected or constructed from scraps on the field as emergency battlefield reinforcements.

This concludes Necron Week. Now off to painting....

  1. those are quite honestly the most imaginative kit-bashes i have seen all year (and it is pretty close to the end of the year). not only are they imaginative, they are brilliantly executed too. i am a particular fan of the tyrannid (?) arm, just for the WTF?! factor :)

  3. I love them. The scrap crons are the coolest take on the warrior kit I have seen to this day. Very creative and a very good use of bits and material.

Also, the guass tubes are far better than the old green plastic.

  4. Those Gauss tubes are a great use of extra bits, and a great way for me to spend more money if I ever decide to get into necrons... I love it, my wallet hates it! :) Well done.
