The Blood is Old School GW Red Ink mixed with Micro Kristal Klear. That's how I get it "globby" and gory.
My wife bought a box of these guys for me a while ago when they came out and the quality control was not that hot. I had to repair ALOT of tiny details and there are still little air bubbles and imperfections all around. In fact I called to complain to GW and they sent me a whole new pack for free. Which is how I ended up with 10 of them.
However, in recent times I have bought other fine cast figures and not had those issues so I goes GW worked out the kinks with the casting process. I do for the most part enjoy fine cast now, especially for tiny elder details.
Yep. I've had similar experience. My 25th anniversary marine was damn near flawless. Just wondering if you had more recent casts than I did of the DE. Those first batches were rough.
Great stuff! Is that blood Tamiya Clear Red? Also, how did you like this little Finecast nightmares? I found them, um... challenging, to be polite ;)
