I mixed up loyalist and Traitor Terminator armor and used all the diver helmet heads from BioHazard head sprues Morbäck designed to achieve a unique look. I actually shaved away a lot of the smaller chaos detail on each figure for a smoother armor look, especially on the shoulder pads. This Particular unit has Mark of Nurgle, so I added that in there in a Cephlopod like fashion :)
The addition of some aquatic like mutations completes the Innsmouth Look on these fellas.
I am really liking the standard that you did, and the whole look of the army in general. As someone who is also doing a lovecraftian/cthulhian marine army, I look forward to more progress.
ReplyDeleteVery nice. Any plans for anchors, oxygen tanks, and hoses too?
ReplyDeleteYou should pose one model swimming with fins on and things too as a gag model. Could be a ridiculous conversion. I'm really enjoying seeing these. Lots of character!
Those are stupidly cool. Like the possessed arms that give the extra nautical theme
ReplyDeleteInsanely good looking miniatures. Can't wait to see them painted up.
ReplyDeleteBetween the speed at which you are pumping out these works of art has left my brain gobsmacked. I tip my hat to you good sir!!!
ReplyDeleteDelightfully disgusting! I can't wait to see what's next. Keep up the great work, man!
ReplyDeleteThat back banner/standard is awesome. The whole skeleton steering the ship plus dark elf squid plus a really really nice head on that guy to match. where did you find such a great squid face??
ReplyDeleteIt was from this kit.

ReplyDeleteSeveral More units coming up in the next couple of days :)
Looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteWhere have the resign bases come from? The whole look and feel of this army is amazing! I can't wait to see the finished painted product!
ReplyDeleteThanks!

Haha, I'm doing a force almost identical to this using the same components, called the Heralds of Khephis, great work!
ReplyDeleteAnd "great work" is an understatement, they're outstanding. I'm currently working on a submersible Defiler - part submarine, part crab lol
DeleteOh nice! I'm making a defiler from a Khorne Impaler that has an Octopus bottom instead of mechanical legs.Like a giant mutant octopus wearing armor almost.
DeleteLove your blog name, Eddie Izzard rocks.
I love the squid head.
