Beautiful as always, plus I really like the squad leader how you've used a Dark Elf head.
Hopefully I'll be able to share you my work on my DE at some point. I've got 18 reavers and 15 hellions sitting on a shelf ready to get assembled and painted.
Looks like you were wearing your Sunday Best when you posted this and I hope that you don't mind me throwing out a shout out on it on my blog The Chaos Manifesto. Thanks for sharing.
@Julian McPhearson, the Jet effects were Laser Muzzle flashes from Armorcast. http://armorcast.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=100&products_id=796&osCsid=99d7f862d2de27fbf91dd322f27ab1ae
@ DrGabe, the leafs were birch leaf litter from Antenocitis Workshop: http://www.antenocitisworkshop.com/wargaming-materials-tools/leaves.html?p=3
@ HotPanda, I don't mind if you show them on your Blog. Thanks for the support!
LuckyNo.5, I completely agree. Just finished putting together four Venoms. Damn, they are fun. Nice job with the custom Blasters, using bits from Reavers and Shredders. Looks good. Doing the same but with Splinter Rifles.
Fantastic, great work, they look amazing

Thanks for the compliments guys!
ReplyDelete@Shatterhands 18 reavers and 15 hellions! You have your painting work cut out for you.
I'm going to have 10 Hellions up on the blog in a few days. Finishing them up now :)
Another cracking squad!
ReplyDeleteI'd love the see a whole army shot of these guys!
Looks good Lucky.
ReplyDeleteAwesome work as always - the venom really has a sense of speed to it with the armorcast jet exhaust effect and the banners. Keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteYour Dark Eldar always impress me. The black to blue fades and the bold reds make one of the best color schemes I have seen in the new DE models.
ReplyDeleteWow amazing! What are those engine pieces? Like the energy
ReplyDeleteYour selection and application of colours is mind blowingly AWESOME.
ReplyDeleteAwesome showcase of models. I like the scenic effect's on the engines. One question- where did you get the leaf effects for the bases?

You know, I've never cared for the cinematic effects on models... but I like them on the engines on the Venom. Well done :)
ReplyDeleteNice!
