Dark Eldar Grotesque Conversions Finished

They say a picture is worth a thousand words….

Well here 16,000 words worth of pictures!

FINALLY after over a year and a half I've finished my Grotesque conversions. Honestly they sat in a dusty box for a year and 5 months until I pulled them out a few weeks ago and made the decision to finish them once and for all.

The original article on how I constructed them has been the most popular article on this blog reaching a whopping 5176 views! I had to make sure I did them to the best of my ability. I hope you like them.

In case I didn't mention it before... Please go check out The Dark City. It's really getting awesome over there and if you're a Dark Eldar fan it's the place to be.

  2. About time! These look fantastic mate. . .except for the blood, it's just abit too cartoony. I'd suggest using tamiya clear red, it gives a fantastic looking blood for minimal effort.
How hard was the PP "plastic" to cut do you remember?

    1. Yeah I used Micro Crystal Klear mixed with Old School GW red ink. I'm hoping it'll get "Clearer" int he next few days. OI've noticed that in large amounts sometimes it'll take up to 48hours to get full effect.

The PP plastic is kinda spain to be honest. It's like not really plastic, not really resin and it sands like shit. More like vinyl really. A sharp knife and a ton of patience is your best bet.
