Next up on my finished list for Mariners Blight Is a pair of rhinos.
These were highly converted MKII Rhino kits. I basically redetailed the whole kit overtop of the old chassis.

Once again, incredible work, sir!
ReplyDeleteMan, that army just keeps getting better and better. Fantastic work, man!
ReplyDeleteThanks Joel! I have new posts going up every 2-3 days for the next 2 weeks for Blight starting today. Cranking them out now
DeleteI hope you like the Lovecraft quotes :D
Looking spot on. Really like the new doors and replacing the original exhausts with the Baneblade ones was a good choice.
ReplyDeleteThese may be the best Rhinos I have ever seen. I usually scroll past the pictures of Rhinos in army showcases since I find them pretty boring, but the fantastic aging and OSL on these is just so good!
ReplyDeleteThe whole army is just spectacular! Great job!
Awesome, awesome work. At some point will there be a battler report with these guys because I really don't think you've given the community enough yet ;) Sure you have but if they could be in action, ripping some other well painted army to pieces on a decent board that would be cool too.
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff, I love the corroded look you have achieved.
ReplyDeleteTruly inspirational.
Those rhinos are amazing. I have a question how did you do the rhinos doors?
ReplyDeleteThanks man, As for the doors... I made them :)
DeleteThey are a combination of 40mm round lip bases from warmachine, ork kan hatches, city of death pieces and sheet plastic. I made a mold and cast them few times to get 4 door panels.
