Sons of Horus Justarian Terminator Squad

"This day shall be our day of reckoning. Look not to the shame of the past, but to the glory of the future. We shall wash away the stain of our dishonour in the hot blood of our enemies."

For this Sons of Horus Unit I built them mostly out of the box (bag) but went for an extremely Cthonian look with the heads. I also replaced the power axe blades with something slightly more chaotic looking. I might swap out some of the top-knots with different looking top-knots before painting. Right now there's 3 that are identical and that bugs me.

    1. Super glue and a toothpick to apply it :)

    2. I tend to use Paper clips and a drill that is quite thin. I drill both parts that i wish to put together and glue the pin and the surface in between the two parts. I think it makes it very durable for everything short of tossing the miniature in the wall(haven't tried that yet though).

    3. do you glue the links of the chain together or glue the chain to the armor or both? If the latter, do you apply the glue to the chain or armor, sir? Thank yoU!

  2. Looking good - I agree that having the three identical heads is a little iffy though. Perhaps clipping one and flipping it to flow over to the left, and maybe swap out one with an ork topknot or something similar?

Loving these, can't wait to get started building the Iron Hands infantry (still waiting for bits to arrive from FW, unfortunately)!

    Keep up the great work!

    1. Thanks Man. Actually since I shot these guys, I changed 2 of the topknots so they have more unique looking heads. I used Ork top-knots, worked out well.
