Mariners Blight Deep Diver Dreadnought Painted

"When the stars were right, They could plunge from world to world through the sky; but when the stars were wrong, They could not live. But although They no longer lived, They would never really die."
-H.P. Lovecraft - Call of Cthulhu

This model was my original inspiration for the whole army. I just wanted to make a Bioshock Big Daddy type of character and here's the result.

Details about his construction can be found HERE and HERE

  1. Still looking amazing, the faded numbers and logos look stunning. I'm almost going to be sad when you finish this project, I've enjoyed seeing the update come up in my blog list.

    1. Thanks :) I'll be a little lost when this army is done too. But thankfully the new Chaos Dex will be out by then and I'll hopefully have new inspiration!

  2. Once again, that's an amazing concept. Are the numbers decals or stencils?

    1. I had a custom decal sheet ALPS printed from these guys: http://www.kadee.com/htmbord/custom.htm

Cost about $35 for 8.5x11 sheet. But I got decals for the whole army done at once.

  4. While I loved watching you conversions come together, I wasn't convinced by the color scheme on your first few models. This model, however, is the one that really hits it all home. It all gels for me now. What a great looking army!

    Cheers

  5. This is incredible. It looks just like something raised out of the sea. Very nice work.

  6. I'm dead sure that this is THE most amazing army I've EVER seen. Everything is incredibly well done: the theme, the conversion work, the sculpting, and ultimatley the painting. I'm truly and honestly lost for words... and jealous, and that's meant as a huge compliment.

    Group shot, please?
